ELLWOOD, WILSON M.-Age, 40 years. Enlisted, September 10, 1861, at Union Valley, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. A, October 4, 1861; discharged, February 22, 1865, at Elmira, N. Y.

The tombstone at right in the Pitcher, NY, cemetery is very weathered, but the "76" is clearly visible, and there's a GAR marker next to to the tombstone. Union Valley isn't far from Pitcher, so it seems possible (if not certain) that this is Wilson Ellwood's grave. There's only one "L" on the stone, but this is not an uncommon variation on names in the AG's roster.
